                      2006 Edition

Discovery is the theme of the 2006 Science Festival.
Exhibitions, laboratories, shows and special events: for
2006, the Science Festival is planning a series
of events that will explore the planet of science from
every angle. Science and education meet in a range of "hands-on" experiments
in natural science, physics, chemistry, and astronomy laboratories,
and in exhibitions dedicated to volcanoes, which will take
us on a journey to the centre of the Earth.
Physics and light are at the centre of two large exhibitions, "Science
and Consciousness at the Mirror" and "The rays
of light". The 2006 Festival, moreover, will take
part in two big international projects: "Esciential" and "Wonders",
which will bring exhitions and workshop from all accross
                      the Europe.

What's more, this year the Science Festival will welcome
outstanding names from the world of science as, among the
                    others: Susan Blackmore, Nicola
Cabibbo, Fritjof Capra, Sean Carroll, Gregory Chaitin, Terrence Deacon, Umberto
Eco, Artur Ekert, Daniel Kahneman, Michio Kaku,
