Edition
 The
Genoa Festival della Scienza gave visitors the chance to spend
12 days absorbed in the fascinating world of science: from 23
October to 3 November 2003, locals and tourists were able to
"touch" science, through hands-on exhibitions, lectures
held by leading figures in the international cultural scene,
musical and theatre productions, workshops for schools, workshops
for teachers and students, shows and games.
From morning to evening, in 45 different venues and with over
180 events, Genoa gave visitors the chance to understand scientific
phenomena and data which are normally difficult to understand
but which directly concern us.
 Approximately
300 animators were picked and trained to follow all the events,
including general animators, scientific animators and collaborators.
