Exhibition

In Africa
Shapes, Colours, Emotions

Savannas, deserts, forests in the city of Genoa, mountain gorillas and lions roaming around the streets. An outdoor photographic exhibition featuring life-sized pictures will be open 24 hours a day in the heart of the city, an exhibition which will provoke the audience to reflect upon the beauty and fragility of our planet and also upon the importance of safeguarding it as a priceless patrimony for future generations. Photos by wildlife photographer Alessandro Bee (www.alessandrobee.it) taken over a period of years, tell us something about the African continent: from the forests of Rwanda to the deserts of South Africa, from Savannas in Serengeti to Rift Valley lakes. The exhibition shall be presented by the primatologist Jane Goodall, a UN Peace ambassador.
The exhibition has been organised in collaboration with the Jane Goodall Institute Italia which has been promoting the awareness of new environmental and humanitarian ethics for years. Their work encourages exchanges of ideas between various cultures, the respect and commitment for people, animals and the environment.
