Behind the Mirror
The Hidden World of Extra Dimensions

Lawrence M. Krauss. Introduces: Marco Cattaneo

Few physical theories are more intriguing than the one stating that there are other dimensions besides the four we experience every day. Taking the idea put forward in his book, “ Hiding in the Mirror “(paperback 2006), the American astrophysicist Lawrence Krauss analyses the fascination exerted by parallel universes, hidden dimensions and regions of our being extending beyond our perception. From Plato’s myth of the cave to the TV series “The Twilight Zone”; from Albert Einstein's Relativity Theory to the String theory; from the "Narnia Chronicles" by C.S. Lewis to the radical representation of reality proposed by Cubism…Krauss draws a clear exhaustive picture of the most advanced physical and mathematical theories and he makes a comparison between these theories and all disciplines that have taken inspiration from them, such as the arts, literature and the science fiction cinema.
